Our ticket for 2012 is filled! And honestly, we're delighted. We have the bestest, most fabulous schedule of beautiful places. And we must say the people seem pretty great, too. Fun couples. Lots and lots of great planning going on. (Stay tuned for some engagement shoots). Sometimes we just can't believe we do this for a living. I mean, we're paid to go to beautiful places - to be part of fabulous parties - to be privy to amazing moments in peoples' lives?! Sure, it's also hard work. And of course there's the pressure. Not to mention the continuing hunt for the allusive stylish-yet-comfortable shoe... but we revel in it all, and we're honored that our couples trust us with this task.
Why only seven you ask? I mean, there are at least twelve warm weekends in Vermont, right? It's a tough call, but we want to love what we do this year, and the next . . . and the next. And it's not only loving what we do, but who we do it for. Each couple is a story. Each couple has a love totally unique to them, and we need to know all about it to do our job right. So we limit our weddings to give each one the attention to detail it deserves. After all, those are the details our brides and grooms have labored over for so long. So we keep it small. We can't imagine doing much more.
Plus, the weekends in between can be used for our own Vermont fun--watering holes, hiking, biking... Work hard, play hard. Right? Damn straight.
