Memorial Day is the official kick off of wedding season. In most of the country, it's also the official beginning of summer . . . but not in Vermont! The forecast was actually threatening snow in the mountains, just down the road from The Stowehof Inn where Jen and Brandon planned their beautiful alpine wedding. Wet drops and cool mist filled the air, making everything slick and shiny. The soft light on such days is a photographers dream, though for a bride it's sometimes a harder sell. But no worries, Jen totally rode with it . . . she is so our kind of girl. Of course we knew that going in. We've been looking forward to this day since our engagement shoot/dinner/beer. We knew from the get-go this day was going to be a fun one. Laid back, full of laughter, tears and most of all LOVE!
So light those fireplaces, grab an umbrella and get ready to see a gorgeous day in the Green Mountains of Vermont . . .
(this is just part one, so stay tuned for more!)
The Stowehof is the best venue ever!
