Last weekend we hopped over Lake Champlain to the Adirondacks for Abbie and Phil. The colors beginning to pop, the slight chill in the air, autumn was just making it's appearance...the perfect backdrop to love. And LOVE it was. The number of joyous tears (oh, Abbie, you are so awesome in your expressions!) was only exceeded by the amount of pure happiness emanating from and around Abbie and Phil. The groom's family being Quebecois, excited utterances and thoughtful words were a bit of a mystery at times, but there was no doubting the emotion. Carin got to try out some of her French while I stood there with a quizzical look...kinda funny since I'm the one with the last name LaMonde. But you don't need to be fluent in French to recognize all 'L'amour' in the air.
more still to come...
