We at twohouse were pretty excited to be a part of all of it. And "all of it" included a lot of glamour. Getting ready at a gorgeous Vermont inn, the wedding at Echo on the Burlington waterfront, and a follow up shoot where glam met grit. We have so many wonderful pictures that we have to divide it into a few posts, because we want to share it all with you.
When we first met Naomi and Micah, we were immediately struck by what an amazing couple they are. The connection that they have is something anyone would be jealous of. And as we got to know them even better, and the family and friends that surround them, we were overwhelmed by all the love. Being able to glimpse into lives such as these is part of why we choose to be photographers in the first place.
Kirstin spent the preparation part of the day with Micah and her brother Daniel, the "bridesdude," taking in the quiet moments of reflection and anticipation. Whereas Carin spent her time taking in the flurry of activity and listening to stories of Naomi and the wonderful women surrounding her. Whether it be laughing over the young Naomi's "outdoors only" rule of nailpolish application (isn't that how it's always done?), or just sitting enjoying a good drink, it's clear these two amazing women are aware of life's gifts.
