Mac & Rebecca: Shelburne Farms: Vermont Wedding: All the stuff before the actual wedding

Mac & Rebecca know how to live life.  This was evident from the moment I met them for an engagement shoot and a get to know you session last year.  They're two middle school teachers (we're a crazy lot), only children (but that doesn't mean they don't have big, fun families), and have a love of artisan beer (okay, any beer.)  They decided to host their fete at Shelburne Farms, of course.  One of the most amazing places in the world, as anyone who has been there can attest to.  Big, gorgeous barns and animals, an elegant, lavish inn right on Lake Champlain, and luscious scenery and vistas at every turn.  A perfect spot for this couple.  While the day was a little on the warm and steamy side, thankfully there was no rain in sight, instead the sky was filled with big puffy clouds and everything was lush and green.  After getting ready in their chosen spots seperately, Kirstin and I joined Rebecca and Mac for a first look right outside the farm's working dairy. After a bit of sweetness and dress showing off (that's one amazing dress!), Tiki the cow had to get in on the action, too.  With the first look done, they were free for some formals at the Inn, filled with the laughter and joy of their closest friends and family.  Following, it was time to head to the Coach barn for the wedding and party, but that's for another post.  Needless to say, Kirstin and I had so much fun with them.  Thanks for being up for everything, Mac and Rebecca!  Enjoy this first post, everyone, and stayed tuned for more to come.
