One House Down

This summer is going to be exciting for Two House Photo. Amongst the awesome line up of weddings we have booked, Carin and her family are preparing to welcome a new baby girl. She's due any day now. As a result, Carin has hung up her wedding photographers camera for a few months (not her actual camera...that never gets hung up). Therefore, I have a smattering of solo weddings. Well, not really solo, as we have another little house able to come on in. Cyndi is a friend, neighbor and talented photographer in her own right. And amazingly, her house is situated between Carin and my houses in our little Burlington hood.  Catherine Street, the photographer mecca of Vermont!

Last weekend was the first of these sans Carin gigs. It's hard not to have my compadre there, but once  submerged in the festivities, any concern or worry melts away.  Though I miss her eye, her perspective and her ability to make clients giggle...something I'm not always the best at.  Cyndi can attest to that as I tried to tell the bridesmaids a joke to get a laugh out of them.  Totally bombed.

But other than my weak attempts at standup, the wedding went pretty great.  The bride was gorgeous, the weather held off until after the ceremony and this place...man this place!  It was straight out of a magazine. But not in a fake corny sort of way.  Pigeon Hill Farm was all very authentic and quaint and just downright beautiful.
